This state needs a better class of universities!

I am a final year Computer science engineering student studying in a engineering college that is affiliated to an university.When i look back my years in college,i can say without any doubt,it was of complete waste.It made no sense at all.I aspired to get into better university but finally ended up in these so called university.I got admission in NUS,but my parents never allowed me to go to singapore.That's dead.
Let me share a few stuffs here....

1.When i entered the collge,i was very timid and was very depressed the way the things turned out(the admission,denial etc).but these years have changed me a lot and taught me how to live the life.Now i am happy and strive to be a proactive person.This is the best thing i earned in these four years.(only coz of the incidents in college).

2.The examination system is very old and it just tests the "retaining whatever u have read in the book"-memory.
Even if i write the exam i dont get the actual marks that i deserve.I have noted the pattern for the last couple of semesters,in which i write the correct answers and end up gettig zero marks for that(or a simple dash(-) in my marks column-indicating that i havent written the answer to that question).I have done revaluation and always end up getting 2 marks increase.
So,there is no point in writing exams since i dont get the marks that i deserve.now i am writing exams for clearing the papers(But i study the subject properly,dont mistake me)

3.Everyday morning,when i wait for the collge bus,i usually think what is the need for going to college?.If u ask me,i would always say,going to college is a utter waste(in my case).I dont do anything great in college.There is no environment that exists in college for studying.The lecturers dont know what they are teaching and end up saying polymerism in the place of polymorphism.
The fellow classmates?This is the thing that always has bothered me a lot.I dont like to comment on that isuue.But honestly,the classroom doesnt seems to be a place for studying.

4.The college doesnt attempt to mould a student into an engineer.But its a job of the college to play its share in moulding a student into a craftsman,engineer et al,which it doesnt.It has become a business to earn money through capitation fee.Thats it.Nobody runs the institution for inculcating education.Just for money and only for money.

5.The universities,colleges here dont provide the class of education that universities in USA,UK,Singapore provide.They dont encourage research activities..for that matter anything.

Likewise i can go on saying hell lot stuffs like this.But the thing i wanted to convey is the education system in the ies and colleges need to improve a trillion times and they should try to provide world class education to the students,not merely harping on money factor.i am trying to do my PG in any of the foreign universities(i mean really good universities).For that i need to write GRE and most important i need money.

Note.These things might sound different to all who are studying in IIT,NIT and other really world class universities.

SAROJA - A must watch film!

SAROJA,the movie directed by Venkat prabhu is a very different movie from the rest of tamil movies.The creator delivered a hit earlier (Chennai 600028).This time he hits the bull's eye again.This particular movie SAROJA is a movie mostly set in the dark.Its a thriller but dont mistake its a hardcore thriller.Its a thriller with very interesting,funny comedy elements.There is no dull moment in the film.The director proves to be a trendsetter.
Its a one of the best films in the recent tamil cinema releases.A must watch film!

We dont want the Government

Well,at this juncture when i write this,BJP has said that it will move a previlege motion against the government for its "misleading the country".
This is what Mr.Manmohan singh told to parliament on July 22,2008(the day when no confidence motion was passed in the parliament) regarding the nuclear deal.

"I confirm that there is nothing in these agreements which prevents us from further nuclear tests if warranted by our national security concerns. All that we are committed to is a voluntary moratorium on further testing. Thus the nuclear agreements will not in any way affect our strategic autonomy"

That letter clearly states that the nuclear fuel supply will be stopped if india conducts the nuclear test.Also,for so long,our government has said Nuclear deal abides by 123 aggrement only and Hyde act has nothing to do with it.But that letter clearly states that Nuclear deal has to be in accordance with Hyde act.Moreover india has not signed in Non proliferation treaty.what was the neccessity behind such a deal(bypassing NPT).

In the interview Mr Anil kakodkar has given to NDTV today(04.09.2008),he has said that "India knew about the secret letter before and it knew what was in it".
So,the government knew about all these things and deliberately told entirely different stand in the parliament and to the people.i say they have cheated the people who voted them to power.When india was burning with hell lot of problems like inflation,terrorism etc our government and Mr.Manmohan singh were very committed to the promise made by them to Mr.Bush.They never paid attention to the problems in india and PM went to say "i dont mind losing the government over Nuclear deal".

Do we need the government anymore?This government has done a complete mockery and all the way they have mislead the people of india and also the parliament.We dont want the government.
