TamilNadu in dark!

Atlast Power minister has acceped that there is a deficit of 1000MW power in state of TamilNadu. For that, the government has come up with a plan----1 hour compulsory power cut in chennai and 2 hrs in other parts. The technical term used is "power holiday".
Even before this, there were unannounced power cut in all over TamilNadu. In my area there were power cuts mostly during the noon and in the night. In night, the timing will be usually after 10.30 PM.Citizens would have to suffer from the scorching sun, else along with the mosquitoes.
Now it's official.
The Minister has blamed the failure of southwest monsoon and “inadequate generation” by wind mills for the current crisis. These arrangements would be in force till the revival of monsoon and sufficient inflow into hydropower
stations.

It's a fact that TamilNadu doesnt get rain during south west monsoon.
A government should ensure basic amenities to the citizens.TamilNadu government have been mum on the rising prices and in the inflation issue.
Citizens who have voted the parties to power are the obvious sufferers.
What every citizen wants is "Even if we dont get anything as benefit, plz dont make us to suffer".
The citizens should also take efforts to save electricity.
What else to say?
