EVANO ORUVAN

I had the opportunity to watch "Evano Oruvan" to be honest its one of the best movies i have seen in the recent times... Its worth watching when compared to the films of this age which are packed with so called "commercial items". A person can be pushed so far till he or she reach a place beyond fear where they do a thing which is of course the righteous thing according to their ideology. for that matter, violence is not the panacea. It might seem to give some result, but its temporary. To achieve a permanent solution ,that is to achieve a Utopian society, certain things have to be done. If not the words such as honesty, equality, truth etc will become the forbidden words and those who practice it will be projected as an extra terrestrial alien. The human beings are now accustomed to this sort of wicked world and have sensibly lost the ability to fight for and against. All have become tongue tied and voiceless.Every one are obsessed with their individual life.
In the movie the climax was appreciable. The hero is shot in a encounter in the local train. He collapses and finally rests in a seat.He asks the inspector who shot him " can i have the window seat?It takes a lifetime to get a window seat"....
poetical!
"vallamai tharayo sivasakthi intha manilam payanura vazhvatharke...."

DISGRACE

DECEMBER 11-BIRTHDAY OF Mr.SUBRAMANIYA BHARATHI

but tell me who cared it?
The most important was the birthday of Mr.Rajinikanth which was celeberated with much fanfare rather than the poet who used his tamil poetry skills profusely for the freedom of this country.

"A poet must never make a statement simply because it is sounds poetically exciting; he must also believe it to be true. "

yes,he practiced it till he died.He said in what he believed.
Who could forget the verses "achamillai achamillai","nenju porukuthilaiye","nallathoru vennai seithen"?
how many verses he has written with words expressing anger,sacrifice,patriotism,love,devotion,freedom.......
This state for that matter this country didnt respect and show enough gratitude to a person who lived for the very country.I dont know where this country is heading towards.....
In this context, only verse of Mr.Bharathi that comes to my mind is

"nenju porukuthilaiye intha nillai keta manitharai ninaithuvittal"
aiyago sivasakthi!!!
